Many thanks to the Association for Women in Communications Santa Barbara for a wonderful tribute Friday. Sara Miller McCune and I were honored by the group for our contibutions to writing, publishing and communications, and it was a distinct privilege to be recognized with Sara.

Thanks also to the county Board of Supervisors and Congresswoman Lois Capps for the additional honors of a resolution of appreciation and Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition. I was deeply touched by all of it.
